January 28 – Polar Bear Plunge for Special Olympics Maryland. I don’t know how I let my daughter-in-law talk me into this, but she and I are jumping into icy waters of Chesapeake Bay.
January 29 – RunningBrooke (Brooke Snyder Curran) is sponsoring a Zumba Explosion to raise funds for the five Alexandria-based women and children-focused nonprofits she supports through her marathon running. After yesterday’s plunge in the Chesapeake, I’ll be looking forward to heating up with a few hours of zumba. That is, if I haven’t dropped over with pneumonia.
